Arbuckle Agave is built by two partners with a shared vision — combining tradition, hands-on work, and long-term thinking to grow something real.
Rogelio Lopez
Rogelio Lopez was born in Jalisco, Mexico — the birthplace of tequila and blue Weber agave. Growing up surrounded by the land and traditions that shaped agave culture, he developed a deep respect for the plant and its role in both agriculture and heritage. Today, his work reflects a balance of tradition, hands-on experience, and long-term vision.
Steven Salamandra
With over 35 years of experience as a general contractor, Steven brings business insight and operational leadership to Arbuckle Agave. He oversees logistics, infrastructure, and the business side of the nursery, helping ensure everything runs efficiently from plant production to delivery. His focus on quality and consistency ensures that every plant meets the standards expected by commercial growers.
Together, Rogelio and Steven combine agricultural roots with decades of hands-on business experience building Arbuckle Agave with a focus on quality, sustainability, and long-term growth.
